Budureasca is a Romanian premium wine brand that won prestigious awards for their high-quality products, so their online presence had to become a relevant digital story to share with the world.

The idea was to promote their premium wines with unique characteristics and also the charming blend of “the historical legacy of the terroir with the modern technologies adapted to the New World of winemaking”, to say, all that reflected in their renewed online identity.

Our job was to design and implement the new website for this brand that would engage the audience and tell an inspiring story. But this web project was more than a presentation website, having included the online shop also. There were many pages to design while keeping ….. plenty of functionalities and animations, too, along with subtle effects to highlight a minimalist, modern and also vibrant look & feel, in line with their tradition, their exquisite products and a strong offline presence.

Our team chose to follow the simplicity in designing and coding this project – since simple and minimalist will always be in vogue. The color palette had to express the exquisite and delicate vibe of the products, so our designer chose a minimalist style with bursts of earthy and ruby nuances, a smooth look & feel completed by well-chosen interactive animations and interactions on each page layout – a must-have for a dynamic digital experience to engage more users in following this web “journey”. The right animations and interactions can direct the users to the right content at the right time (for example, the Awards page, which presents multiple showcases of their wines’ “Oscar moments”, to say, specifying each of their special characteristics).

Because this web project, www.cramabudureasca.ro, was more than a simple presentation website (the online shop will be launched soon, too), completing it took some time, a lot of work, regular rounds of feedback and meetings with the client’s team. All these helped a lot in shaping the final product: a smooth, modern and functional design balanced by well-chosen interactivity and visual effects that would highlight the richness and excellence of the entire wine brand (special wine ranges, a history of international events, accomplishments and awards). In one word, a complete, comprehensive, charming and relevant online identity for the Budureasca brand, as authentic as the brand itself.
