Capri on Via Roma

Capri on via Roma is a new shopping centre located on the Isle of Capri, Gold Coast. The design of the website showcases the very picturesque surroundings of the shopping center, as well as the architecturally (award-winning) beautiful buildings of the centre. The website is a voice for the tenants to reach out to viewers. It also serves to attract new customers to the shopping center, bringing to the attention of both new & existing customers information about events at the centre and specials that tenants might be offering to their customers.

To our web designers’ joy, this web project got a lot of attention in the past years and became very popular in online. It’s one of the projects we worked on with great care for details, mainly because the focus of the website was on visual and its smooth navigation.

This web project we designed and implemented was exciting not only thanks to the challenge itself (eJump was the winning designer in the client’s contest on 99designs platform), but also because it was for a shopping center in Capri – where the stunning views dazzle people with beauty, history and spectacular forms. This had to be reflected on the website.

Also, we’re talking about a place where you could arrive by boat (there’s a small harbor in front of the mall!). Our job was to deliver fresh designs and set the look and feel accordingly with these aspects in mind, but also to implement them on WordPress along with a more smooth and custom navigation for the users. It was kind of an adventurous project to realize, to our joy.
