Founded in 1989 in Chisinau, Litera Publishing House is now a market leader in Romania, with over 4300 published titles. Litera Publishing House has been working with eJump Media since 2004, being one of the first publishing houses in Romania to join the online revolution.
This was an awesome project to make – and a complex one. Our team delivered both the design and the web development services. To be exact, we’ve developed it on Magento platform, based on ERP integration plus stock management. Obviously, since we’re talking about one of the biggest online bookstores in Romania… Regarding the design, there aren’t super special mentions here. Being an online bookstore, it had to be, of course, as attractive as it can be and have a cool slider for news and book promotions, but pretty clean and easy to navigate and balanced, focusing on showing products in the most efficient way so that users would easily buy. Their details had to be shown in a way that wouldn’t look crowded on pages, but since the background is all-white, that wasn’t a problem. Our designer got to play a little bit with icons and visual elements thanks to that. Take a look and buy a book!
