For all the gourmet food lovers out there, we have a new food truck in town! Simbio pe roți is on its way to you!
When we heard that Simbio, one of the coolest locals in Bucharest, wanted to take the next step and travel the country by truck, to bring their mouth-watering goodies to all the food lovers, we were all curious and excited. Especially because our team had to handle web design and implementation of their new project’s presentation page…
To be more precise, we had to create the landing page for Simbio pe roti and keep it simple. We did. Since it was a really cool project to work on, the brainstorming for the design stage concluded that the page had to have some nice subtle effects, a different approach to how the info was highlighted and catchy visuals – all nicely blended in a minimal layout.
The presentation page had to be in line with the brand identity, of course. We thought that adding an animation for the logo would be interesting (to spin like a wheel), as well as subtle hover effects for the menus. A bit more challenging tasks fell into our coder’s hands, Liviu, who had to implement an API for the interactive map with pin points and to synchronize click actions inside Google maps with some page elements. Also, he added a section which automatically updates with photos added on the Instagram account of Simbio pe roti. Made it responsive and launched it into space!
