This web project wasn’t completed by us, but we fell in love with this design version we suggested to the client.
We don’t usually get this kind of projects from our clients, so this one was fun and welcomed by our designer. It was a slightly complicated project, although. The client didn’t offer any wireframe or website structure to follow, being the first time he’d hear about these aspects or a brief – which for anyone who works in the creative industry is a must. This client from Philadelphia really wanted to share and spread her dog’s story with other animal lovers around the world because it was a tough challenge for her and her pet.
The client wanted a creative, fun and informative website without being too cartoonish, its audience being adults who are looking for hope in challenging situations – like surgical operations or health issues like Sparky Pluggs suffered. So our designer created a friendly design, with Sparky as a super dog, illustrating its story through pictures and a cute timeline, a great typography for this kind of website and also through smart, modern and nice features and sections for people to use. The colors are great and inspire confidence, a friendly approach and optimism, without looking funny. After all, the story itself was a real adventure, but full of fears and tough situations, so these aspects had to be taken into consideration when designing the website.
