The core infrastructure was built in collaboration with a specialized team fromMalta, experienced in managing orders, drivers, and mobile applications. Building on thissolid foundation, we developed our own layer of intelligent tools that turns a transportationplatform into a premium mobility engine.
Operating a fleet of premium electric vehicles comes with high complexity at every level:How do you correctly assign a driver to a ride booked in advance? How do you calculate afair, competitive price in real time, across every channel? How do you deliver a "tap & go"experience even without an app, directly from physical locations? And how do you do all ofthis without increasing operational overhead?
The teams behind BLUE already had the core infrastructure — but they needed anintelligent layer that could turn raw data into correct decisions, automatically, at scale.
Solving these problems required more than a single fix — it meant building an intelligent layer on top of the existing infrastructure, one module at a time, each addressing a specific point of friction in the operation. Together, these modules work as one system: they share the same data, the same pricing logic, and the same goal of turning complexity into a smooth, automated experience for both passengers and operators. Below is how each piece fits into the bigger picture.
We built an entirely new ordering channel: physical kiosks through which passengers can order a ride without a phone and without waiting. The price is calculated instantly for the requested route, and the ETA is real, coming from the same intelligent engine used for prebooking — one that also accounts for drivers who are already on a ride.
Upon confirmation, the passenger automatically receives an SMS with the car, the driver, the color, and the license plate number. From selection to assigned car: a matter of seconds.
The heart of the platform. For every scheduled order, a proprietary pipeline analyzes the real-time GPS position of the entire fleet and the status of every driver. It calculates real travel times using the Google Distance Matrix — not straight-line distances. It knows when a driver is finishing their current ride and estimates, from that point, how long it will take them to reach the next pickup.
It scores every candidate driver against six criteria — empty-run effort per km, arrival synchronization, waiting time, proximity, shift fatigue, and ETA reliability — and selects the optimal one. The result: rides honored on time, fewer empty kilometers, and a more efficiently used fleet.
The price is neither fixed nor guessed. BLUE runs real-time pricing rules with multi-source comparisons: a proprietary price-rules engine connected directly to the dispatch system, market estimates and benchmarks for fair and competitive rates, and the same consistent price across every channel — kiosk, business, and external integrations.
The customer always sees a fair price. The operator always keeps a healthy margin.
