In today's complex real estate market, offering expert guidance and a user-friendly face are essential in getting ahead of the competition. As property markets evolve, affected by interest rates and other economic changes, shifts in regulation and rising customer concerns, real estate consultancy has become entirely digitised and particularly fast-paced. Changes affect both customers, who are flooded by information and misinformation and real estate companies, which have to rapidly disseminate offers and adapt to sudden changes in market trends.
Navigating property transactions demands the guidance of professionals but also minimal response times. The modern real estate industry needs to respond to change, optimise portfolios, decipher red tape all while offering a pleasant customer experience. To succeed, real estate companies need a good and responsive relationship with their providers of tech solutions.
Prior to the emergence of premium consultancy services in the real estate sector, property transactions were frequently conducted without adequate professional guidance or market insight. Even when websites started to emerge, they had less than a stellar reputation. Infrequent updates meant that sold/rented properties generated clarification work. The difficulty of conveying personal expertise to an online medium represented an additional challenge.
Crosspoint was no exception. The company was quick to innovate, but the technology used in their old website often faced challenges with rapid responses and managing the complexity of listing thousands of properties across Romania. When the tech failed, buyers and sellers had limited access to market analysis, which led to uninformed decisions and missed opportunities. Furthermore, management of the entire portfolio was a struggle given the geographic disparity of properties, as well as the breadth of the offer. Crosspoint listed not only homes, but also office and industrial real estate.
All these problems were augmented when dealing with large institutional or professional investors. Offering them proper consultancy required rapid oversight of Crosspoint’s portfolio, flexible provision of information and regulatory expertease. All of this generated more overhead internally, and required more support for management. In turn, there was a need to get the tech behind the online sales platform to work flawlessly. This is important to avoid client frustration and downstream work (such as clarification phone calls).
Following an audit, Crosspoint contacted us to implement enhanced security recommendations. We jumped on the offer and, as existing problems were gradually solved, Crosspoint expanded the scope of our collaboration, recognizing the value of our expertise.
Once the more immediate issues were solved, we proceeded to enhance Crosspoint’s online presence. The company needed a new website, with adequate security and client relations management (CRM) integration. The website needed to be functional, deliver valuable information to end-users and have multiple contact options in order to make it easy for clients to seek consultancy services. Portfolios also needed to be optimised and to respond to changes in real-time, as to avoid customer frustration and unnecessary work for Crosspoint staff and collaborators. Taking down a sold property minimises the time spent answering phone calls that are no longer productive for either business or client.
Throughout our work, we were transparent on what was doable and on the speed of implementing would-be changes. We proceeded to transfer announcements to the new website. After ensuring CRM integration, we developed a backend that allowed rapidly handling text on the website and helping with search engine optimization. We also implemented an English-language version and offered ongoing support. With this, we ticked all the boxes in the brief: the website offered reliable information, accessible to as wide an audience as possible, with minimal disruptions.
The website was built on WordPress, a versatile platform for managing customer-facing content. However, the main challenge in creating this website was the integration of multiple improvements while protecting sensitive information and ensuring ease of use. Added complexity, in this case, was geared towards making the lives of managers, consultants and end-point customers easier.
A key task was implementing an intuitive and easy-to-use interface and making it accessible for users with varying technical expertise. Managing content, viewing listings, or updating information now requires minimal technical knowledge, empowering users to use the website effectively. Multilanguage support enables Crosspoint to cater to a wider audience, breaking language barriers and catering to the needs of foreign residents or investors.
The design for the new website was intuitive and crisp, allowing minimal clicks before clients reach their desired listing.
Preventing reputational damage by minimising outages, viruses and other technical issues is important to a business such as Crosspoint. The new security architecture ensured greater reliability for both front-end and back-end use.
Crosspoint is dedicated to providing excellent property consultancy services that elevate their clients' businesses. Now, they have a website that is easy to use, bug-free and integrated with a previously developed CRM. Our collaboration reflects a joint commitment towards enhancing the quality of consultancy services and the digital infrastructure that underpins it and towards sustaining success in the ever-evolving real estate landscape.
Transactions relied on personal knowledge, informal advice, and limited research, leading to subjective valuations and uninformed decisions.
Using e-tools to change this situation required enhanced security, a friendly UI and an improved end-user experience overall. eJump provided all of these when tasked with upgrading Crosspoint’s digital presence.
The upgraded website allows Crosspoint to better interact with clients, manage consultancies and ensure that property listings are reflective of the situation on the ground.
„Working with eJump has been a game-changer for our consultancy services at Crosspoint. Their expertise in web app development revolutionised how we approach real estate solutions. Their collaboration has not just streamlined our processes; it's elevated our consultancy game, offering our clients an unparalleled experience in the real estate landscape.”

The advent of the Internet has enriched communication for businesses as well as individuals. Increasingly, people rely on the use of images (ranging from emoticons to memes to sharing self-made pictures) and videos to convey messages and meaning.
Dashcams, far from being just a whimsical tool that have enabled the emergence of “crazy Russian driving videos” as a sort of social media genre, have become an important tool in road safety.
Real estate is one of the key growth engines of the Romanian economy. The post-crisis years have seen a boom in both construction and sales, with new construction booming in a few dynamic cities that are attracting talented workers as much as families and expats.
