Budureasca is a Romanian premium wine brand. A winner of numerous prestigious awards, it aims to share its story with the wider world. This implies the creation of an online identity that adequately reflects the mix of old world world traditions and new age winemaking techniques.
eJump was chosen to design and implement a website that would tell this story and engage a wide audience. The website would go beyond presentation and include an online shop. The two components would be seamlessly integrated, allowing viewers to have a grasp of the history of the winery, what each type of wine entails and, finally, giving them the chance to purchase their own bottle(s).
The eJump team opted for simplicity, making the website minimalist in a way that would not risk having it fall out of fashion any time soon. The color palette expressed the exquisite and delicate vibe of the products, the designer using bursts of earthy and ruby nuances. Parts of the website remained informational in nature, for example the section highlighting awards details information about each premium wine for the connoisseurs. At the end, a complete, comprehensive, charming and relevant online identity was developed for the Budureasca brand, being as authentic as it was functional for sales purposes.
